Court and Spark (2017) Sound and Fury X Collier
Tetraploid 5”, 37”, Dormant, Midseason, Rebloom, 4 branches, 24 buds, fertile. Fiery orange red with a dark halo around a gold to olive throat. Very thin gold edge. I always thought the "sparking" part of the phrase had to do with physical displays of affection, but a cursory glance at Google doesn't back me up on this. Nevertheless, this flower is impassioned! It sits high atop a fine plant with great scape density, and I highly recommend it in a mixed perennial planting that is viewed from a distance. It makes an explosive impression for a long period of time!
