Sleepy Marys (Bouman 2015)
Sleepy Marys (2015) Sleepy Hollow X Mary's Baby
Tetraploid, 5, 42, Sev, ML, 6 br, 29 buds, fertile both ways. Dark reddish purple of bottomless color, white picotee
I register daylilies because I want to share wonderful examples of health, plant structure, and floral beauty. Living on the "cutting edgee" has never been my goal or my achievement. My goal is solid garden value. Knockout beauty is always in fashion around here, and I hope in your garden, too.
The scape photo below shows the wide branching that allows the flowers to open without collision. Dedicated to all the Marys out there who wish they had time for a nap!
